Staff Appreciation Month, Recognition this Sunday!

Everyone, this month is staff appreciation month and we are in the process of taking up a love offering for our staff, Debbie Lawrence, Randy Comer and Brad Wright. We are blessed to have such a hard working and loyal staff at Woodland Baptist and we like to say “Thank You,” in a very tangible way through a financial gift. Please make sure and get your offering in as early this week as possible, so they can have their checks this Sunday morning!

Into the Word Tonight, Romans 6, Instruments of ____________?

12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. 13 Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. 14 For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

41st Homecoming Celebration, Expanding to Share His Glory

Come join the WBC family as we welcome R.D. Cline back to preach for homecoming.

Years ago, the Lord used Rev. Cline to help lead Woodland Baptist to an unprecedented financial pace to pay off the newly constructed sanctuary several years early.

This Sunday he and his wife, Hilda, will return to encourage us to invest again in the future of WBC as we break ground on phase one to add additional parking and a new sign to our property.

The Agenda for the day:

9:30 – Small groups

10:30 – Worship

11:30 – Ground Breaking Ceremony

11:45 – Church Wide Food Fellowship – **church provides BBQ, Bread, and drinks, congregation brings deserts and sides for BBQ**
