• First Night of fall 2019 AWANA is 5 p.m., Wednesday, August 14 at SlipnDip.
Awana ministry meets on Wednesday nights during the regular school year in the fellowship hall from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.
Woodland has Awana for children from two years old up to sixth grade.

Along with the verses that the children are memorizing, the adults are also learning…
Awana leaders are memorizing I John 1:1-10 this fall and are inviting the church body to join us. It is taken from the NKJV. It must be recited to Anita or Bill and can be done one verse at a time. It is due by Dec. 31st. These are called “Truthscripts” by Awana.
