Shelby Hazzard – Senior Pastor

Shelby accepted the call to Woodland Baptist as Senior Pastor and has been in the pulpit since January 1, 2012.  He comes to us from Greenville, MS, where he served as the Association Mission Director of his home county for almost two years.  Prior to serving as AMD, he had the privilege of serving his home church of First Baptist Greenville as Evangelism Minister and served as Senior Pastor at two churches in Mississippi and Texas.  He has also served in a variety of different  ways in the church, but believes that his calling is to preach and teach the gospel and make disciples.  He has been marred to Angie for almost 11 years and has three children, Logan (8), Mary Lauren (6) and Micah Alexander (3).

Brad Wright – Student Ministries

Brad Wright joined the Woodland Baptist staff as Student Minister in April of 2011. He has served in youth ministry for eight years in various areas and capacities. Brad just recently moved back to his home town of Caledonia and is excited about serving in that area. He is married to Susan Wright and they have three children together. Brad has a HUGE heart for students to KNOW Christ, learn how to own their Faith, and to make Him KNOWN throughout the world. Brad’s life verses are Proverbs 3:5-6.

Nancy Parra – Administrative Assistant

Nancy joined the staff of Woodland Baptist as the Administrative Assistant in August 2007, having previously served as WBC secretary for some two years. She is currently responsible for the administrative side of all ministries and the accounts payable and financial records preparation. Nancy joined WBC as a member in 1979 shortly before marrying her husband, Dale. Dale and Nancy brought with them their son, Edward, and are now delighted to have their grandson Corey attending with them.
