Here is the Sunday schedule for our fall revival with Rev. Justin Hiens, of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Greenville, MS.  Rev. David Dees will be leading worship on Monday – Wedneday, 7pm.

Sunday – 9:00AM – church wide Breakfast – last one for 2014

9:30am – Large group Sunday School in the Sanctuary with Rev. Hiens and Bro. Shelby to discuss what it means to “Rise UP Intellectually” and to get an outlook on our week of revival.

10:30 – AM worship – Rev. Hinds preaches about “Relevancy with Reverence”

6:00 – PM Worship – Rev. Hinds preaches about “Suffering for the Gospel”

Seeking Wisdom Together – Proverbs 23, 1-18

Come this Sunday night and meet your deacon and have a great meal and fellowshp with your church family.   Everything will happen in the gym.  We will have a brief time of Scripture reading and worship followed by deacon recognition and fellowship.  Each family should sit at their deacon’s table in the gym.

⁸ Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. ⁹ They must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. ¹⁰ And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless. ¹¹ Their wives likewise mustbe dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things. ¹² Let deacons each be the husband of one wife, managing their children and their own households well. ¹³ For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
