**World Changer Project Push**

logoWe need everyone’s help to spread the word about the availability of free labor and materials for those in need within a 45 mile radius of Columbus, MS.  This Summer from June 23-27th, World Changers, affiliated with Lifeway Christian Resources, will be coming to the Golden Triangle for minor home improvement projects throughout the Golden Triangle area.

We need projects for those that are in need which means they do not have the financial means to fix minor problems on their home or are physically unable to do so.  The value of the projects is from $1,500.00-2,000.00 and as of now we plan to do approximately 8 in each community of West Point, Starkville and Columbus for a total of 24 projects.

Jobs range from building wheel chair ramps to painting to board replacement and other minor jobs. There will be no roof projects for liability reasons.  If you think you may know of someone that could use this project, please do not hesitate to download the attached file and send it to us ASAP.  GTBA WC app

Seeking Wisdom Together – Proverbs 11, 1-15

Proverbs 11:1-15 – A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight.  When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.  The integrity of the upright guides them,  but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.  Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.  The righteousness of the blameless keeps his way straight, but the wicked falls by his own wickedness.  The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the treacherous are taken captive by their lust.  When the wicked dies, his hope will perish,  and the expectation of wealth perishes too.  The righteous is delivered from trouble, and the wicked walks into it instead.  With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.  10 When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices, and when the wicked perish there are shouts of gladness.  11 By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is overthrown.  12 Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding remains silent.  13 Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered.  14 Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.  Whoever puts up security for a stranger will surely suffer harm, but he who hates striking hands in pledge is secure.

Matthew 28:18-20 – “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

AM Worship, John 7:53-8:11, Are You Holding a Stone?

woman-caught-in-adulteryThey went each to his own house but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them. The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. 10 Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”   February 22, 2014 – John 7, 53-8, 11 Are You Holding a Stone
