Romans 12:1-2 – 12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers,by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship^{, 2} Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Do want to be conformed to world or transformed by Christ?

Conformed to world [systematizo] – to form or mold one’s behavior in accordance with a particular pattern or set of standards.

Transformed by Christ [metamorpho] – to change the essential form or nature of something.

This Sunday we will look at the Transformational Church ministry by Lifeway and be reminded that we have already been “transformed” by Christ, now we want to see the transformation realized throughout the ministries of the church.
